A Haunting on the Hill by Elizabeth Hand is an interesting modern dive into the world originally created by Shirley Jackson in The Haunting of Hill House.

Stirrings in The Black House is another very interesting take on the traditional ghost and haunted house trope. It is definitely worth a read.

Ghost Eaters is a novel I finished at the beginning of 2024 and I thought it was worth writing about because it was a unique take on the ghost story genre with a great twist at the end.
